Our tours allow all paddlers to get out on different parts of the river, different rivers and to experience different conditions. These may include a paddle at sunrise or a night paddle as well as trips to different locations.
Tours are pitched at a level that allows anybody to take part and can provide a useful stepping stone to trying different things, perhaps a move towards sea kayaking or paddling white water. For others, simply watching the world around us is reason enough to join the tours and enjoy a relaxing day on the water.
Most tours will include a stop for refreshment, either a picnic and warm drink brought with you or perhaps a friendly hostelry.
The main touring season is from April to September. There will be trips going on right through the year for those who are less worried by the cold. If rivers are too high, there are plenty of opportunities to get out on canals instead.
The trips planned for this year include:
- St Patrick’s Stream
- A circular tour of the Thames and Jubilee Rivers
- River Hamble in Hampshire
- River Medway in Kent
