Club News

Join us for our annual summer social at the club on Sunday 23rd July!

We’re also planning a Hurley camping trip on Sat 19th August – so save the date! More details to come from Dan.

See below for an extensive list of courses coming up over summer and beyond. We are particularly keen for any DOs (or aspiring DOs!) who have not already got an FSRT, to join us for the Paddlesport Safety & Rescue Course!

A few lovely inland tours coming up, so keep an eye on our Facebook page for more details from Ian:

Sat 22nd July:  Shepperton Loop
Sat 26th August: Wolvercote (Oxford)

Paddle2Inspire Founder, John Willis – born without fully formed arm and legs – will be taking to the River Thames to embark on an epic 108-mile kayak from Cricklade in Wiltshire to Eton in Berkshire. It would be great if we could gather a small flotilla (or better still a large one of 108 boats!) on Sat 29th July to accompany John from Marlow to The Ferry at Cookham, his planned stop point for the night.

We are looking to order some branded MCC beanies and sunhats. These should cost around Β£10 but will depend on demand – so order lots!! To place your order, drop Charlie an email by the end of July, outlining which colour(s) and item(s) you would like!

– Beanie Hat (French Navy or Mustard)
– Sunhat (French Navy or Mustard)
